According to the daily report from MINSAP, on Thursday, all molecular biology laboratories in Cuba made 6,083 PCR tests in real time to detect the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, totaling 13,740,101 such tests so far.
Of 613 active cases in the country, 600 are clinically stable, while 13 patients are being treated in intensive care units, including three in a critical condition and 10 who are seriously ill.
At a press briefing on television, MINSAP added that 137 patients were discharged after recovering from the disease, so the number of recovered patients rose to 1,094,554.
So far, Cuba has accumulated 1,103,753 contagions since the pandemic was detected in March 2020.
The death toll remains at 8,527, MINSAP reported.
