Two main lectures: “Management as a scientific and innovation-based exercise” and “Local governments’ management based on science and innovation for territorial development in Cuba: progress and challenges”, by Silvio Calvez and Carlos Cesar Torres, respectively, stand out, according to the program.
Then, Luis O. Galvez and Jorge Lodos will give a keynote speech on the necessary differentiation of science, technology and innovation (STI) entities from the Science and Innovation-based Government’s Management System.
Jesus Salomon Llanes and Silvia Miriam Pell will speak about the risks of dependence in the innovation-governance cycle.
Finally, Jose Diaz Duque will speak about the sustainability approach in the Government’s management in Cuba.
The SEAP is part of the patriotic representation of the civil society, it comprises the cultural heritage of the nation and its social task is to mobilize the scientific-technical community, according to the objectives set by the Cuban Revolution.
