Developed within the framework of the International Construction Fair, FECONS 2022, the event convened national and foreign professionals and specialists to present papers on nearly 20 issues related to construction.
The Conference’s general coordinator Antonio Caparo explained that the sessions focus on analyzing new technologies and construction materials such as nanotechnology, red ceramics, cement and the use of wood and steel.
The analysis of traditional technologies used in housing solutions and “combine the new and traditional to improve the use of science and innovation for development,” is also included, Caparo said.
In a general sense, the event aims to promote the implementation of science and technology in the construction process problems of inefficiencies, productivity and quality, he stated.
With 118 exhibitors from 15 countries and virtual presence in all Cuban provinces, the fair that hosts the academic event will last until Friday, April 29, and will promote the commercial relations between Cuban and foreign actors in the sector.
