Briceño, who is on an official visit to Havana until Saturday, will learn about the scientific results of the institution responsible for Abdala (CIGB-66), the first Covid-19 vaccine developed in Latin America and the Caribbean.
According to the program, the prime minister is also expected to visit the Fidel Castro Ruz Center, which aims at disseminating, studying and researching the thought and work of the historic leader of the Revolution.
Briceño arrived in Havana on Wednesday and was received by Deputy Foreign Minister Anayansi Rodriguez.
The head of the Belizean Government held official talks with President Miguel Diaz-Canel, a meeting in which they ratified the will to strengthen ties between both countries and cooperation.
Havana and Belmopan established diplomatic relations on July 15, 1995 and they recently signed legal instruments to strengthen ties in health, culture and the fight against climate change.
