Hernandez, 55, told reporters present at the Copacabana Hotel that he was very happy, because he considered that it was a record with a lot of repercussion and quite difficult to beat by 10 contacts.
Hernandez said that after this feat he will take a break and will begin training to shoot at the level of 10 hours and nine minutes, dominating the ball with just his feet.
This is not the first time that Hernandez tries to break the mark in this modality, since years ago he achieved 350 hits, but it was not approved by Guinness.
Hernandez’s previous feat dates back to May 17, 2020, when he scored 188 hits with his head to the ball in 30 seconds, to break by one the previous record that Guinness had approved in 2011.
Since he began to venture into this specialty, Hernandez has achieved several marks touching the ball with his thighs, knees, feet, head, running the 100 meters and the Havana marathon.
