“We see with great surprise the immediate response of international actors to impose economic sanctions on Moscow and from the court to investigate complaints, but at the same time they remain silent in the face of Tel Aviv’s actions,” the NGO said in a statement.
“The standard of justice must be one for all the peoples of the world; however, here it is shown that it is, once again (…) that political interests prevail over international law,” it stressed.
The organization reminded the ICC that the number of violations committed since the beginning of the year by the Israeli occupying forces has increased, including extrajudicial executions, attacks and provocations against civilians in the West Bank.
It also accused Israel of promoting ethnic cleansing against Palestinians in East Jerusalem as part of a strategy to Judaize the entire city.
In the first four months of 2022, the Israeli military killed 37 Palestinians on the West Bank, including eight minors and two women, and 40 families, with a total of 244 members, were displaced following the demolition of fifty houses.
