Chinese President Xi Jinping will deliver a speech on Thursday at the official opening ceremony, and Vice Premier Han Zheng will lead a number of activities at the event.
The conference agenda will include the discussion of regional and international economic development after the end of the pandemic, focused on “green, innovative and collaborative” growth.
It will also seek to reconcile projects that promote solidarity, trust and cooperation while the planet strives to leave the health crisis behind.
The Boao Forum for Asia is a non-profit organization created in 1998 and an important platform that brings together experts from this and other regions every year to share their views on pressing issues on the global scene.
In 2020, it did not hold its annual conference to support China’s fight against Covid-19, with the pandemic forcing the suspension of multiple national and international events.
