According to lawyer Lilian Ruiz, also a member of the National Coordinator of Solidarity with Cuba in Panama, activists post infographics on social networks pointing out the violations of Washington’s hostile policy.
Among the messages, the Network indicates that the blockade causes multi-million losses as a result of the non-export of goods and services by making it impossible for the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology to introduce its products in the US market.
It also condemns the fact of the shortage of supplies for surgical procedures and limited access to specialized bibliography for the training of health professionals caused by the blockade.
They also reject that the blockade causes a fuel deficit and the impossibility of acquiring technology for construction programs of great economic and social importance.
The Network also denounced that there is no Cuban family, neither inside nor outside the country that does not suffer the effects of the blockade, which they considered illegal, obsolete, arbitrary and an act of extreme cruelty.
The activists announced that as per tradition, as in every 17th of each month, they will also conduct a conference online on the effects of the US blockade on Cuban workers.
