According to the daily report from the Ministry’s spokesman, Major General Igor Konashenkov, that figure includes nine command posts, 101 fortifications, 548 troops concentration areas and war material, 110 artillery positions and an ammunition depot.
He pointed out that, in particular, the aviation hit 48 military facilities in Ukraine, including a radar station, two MLRS fire positions, an artillery battery, and six missile and artillery weapons depots, in addition to 48 hangars with military equipment.
Konashenkov reported that 134 soldiers from the 36th Ukrainian Marine Brigade voluntarily surrendered in the city of Mariupol overnight, bringing the total of surrendered troops to 1,160, including 176 officers, in the last 24 hours.
The Russian Defense Ministry warned on Wednesday that the Armed Forces will launch strikes against high-level military command centers, including any in Kiev, if Ukraine’s forces carry out any new incursions against civilians in the bordering regions of Russia.
“This is something that our Armed Forces have refrained from doing so far,” Major General Konashenkov stressed.
