According to the website, following threats by legislators Junio Amaral and Coronel Telhada, it is now Otoni de Paula that promoted the bravado against the founder of the Workers’ Party (PT).
Brasil 247 assured that this was not the first threat against the former president in 2022, an election year.
Amaral posted a video in which he handled a firearm while making provocations against the former trade union leader, and Telhada tried to intimidate the PT leader, who leads all polls for the October elections.
A report from Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper, published on the occasion, warned that “it is not a secret that a majority of Bolsonaro’s supporters is enthusiastic about weapons” and that group, like the former Army captain, “defends the use of violence.”
