The president of the House of Argentina-Cuba Friendship in Buenos Aires, Ruben Zaccaro, denounced Washington’s aggressive policy and assured the participation of his group in the initiative convened by the “Europa por Cuba” channel, which will have the support of groups and press media from around the world.

“We continue to defend Cuba, its Revolution, its Government and its people. From Argentina we say: Down with the blockade!”, he said.

The Bariloche Group of Solidarity with Cuba also expressed its condemnation of the blockade: “We express our strongest rejection of the blockade imposed by the United States government on the Cuban people, who decided to be free and sovereign by building their own socialism and putting human beings at the center of political debate,” Maximo Schneebeli, member of the organization, said.

“Cuba is updating its system based on the interests of its citizens and with their participation. The Yankees don’t like that, (Cuba’s) self-determination and conviction, but the people will triumph, they demonstrated it with their example of resistance and struggle throughout the last six decades. (…)”, he added.

In turn, the president of the Association of Educators of Latin America and the Caribbean, Susana Gonzalez, expressed her support for the initiatives against US aggression against Cuba.
