The measure, implemented for security reasons, sets temporary restrictions on air terminals across Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista, the communique stated.
Rosaviatsiya assured that the country’s other airports, included the international ones, are operating normally.
The Russian agency instructed airlines to use available alternative routes and the domestic airports of Mineralnie Vodi, Moscow, Stavropol, Sochi and Volgograd to transfer travelers affected by those measures.
The implementation of such restrictions began on February 24, when Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine.
