As reported by the Cuban Embassy in Germany, both sides dealt with Cuba’s policy on renewable energy and efforts to conduct such a program linked to the change of Cuba´s energy matrix.
Within the framework of the event, Mr. Arronte met with Dr. Ajay Mathur, Director-General of the International Solar Alliance, and debated on the future projection and strengthening of renewable energy projects in Cuba.
Previously, the Cuban minister met with the Chairman of the German Federation of Renewable Energies Simone Peter and talked about future projects with German firms.
The Cuban government seeks to strengthen, above all, sustainable variants to solve energy problems ahead of clean mechanisms, such as solar and wind sources.
