South Korean Deputy Defense Minister Park Jae-min met with his New Zealand counterpart, Andrew Bridgman, and the two officials discussed ways to boost collaboration in that sector.

They also agreed to make efforts to resume regular joint military exercises, which were suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as soon as the epidemiological situation stabilizes.

Bridgman is on an official visit to South Korea to mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Seoul and Wellington.
