According to the report by Defense Ministry spokesman, Major General Igor Konashenkov, the attacks hit two command posts, two anti-aircraft missile systems, a rocket launcher, three ammunition depots and two fuel depots, in addition to 23 areas of movement for military vehicles, among others.
The Aerospace Forces shot down four Su-24 fighter planes and one Su-27 fighter jets belonging to the Ukrainian Air Force, as well as 19 drones.
Meanwhile, the forces of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic have advanced five kilometers in their offensive and taken control of the villages of Ivanovka and Novosadovoye.
Konashenkov said that since the beginning of the hostilities, the Russian Armed Forces have eliminated 308 drones, 1,713 tanks and 170 multiple rocket launchers.
Russia launched the military operation in Ukraine on February 24, after the authorities of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic and Lugansk People’s Republic requested help to repel the increase in aggression from Ukrainian authorities.
