On his Twitter account, the minister referred to the inauguration of this pedagogical artistic project at the ISA’s Faculty of Visual Arts, to be active until April 30 in coordination with the National Council of Plastic Arts.
The higher educational center also announced, as part of the Isa Zone, the collective exhibitions “Follow the white rabbit”, “Light your own chemistry” and “Becuadra”. The latter is a cultural experience assumed by the Engraving Department.
Other exhibitions are La Refriega, by first-year students of the fulltime course, including Daniela Aguila, Daniel Anton, Jany Batista, Roxana Bello, Rosa Cabrera, Maria Fernanda Chacon, Liz Gonzalez, Melisa Jimenez, Jonathan Moreno and Aldo Soler.
Other events scheduled within the pedagogical artistic proposal are the exhibition “Light to your own chemistry” and a tribute to Professor Miguel Mariano Gomez, who died in November 2021 and was one of the deans of the Faculty of Visual Arts from 1998 to 2001.
The last stage of the fourteenth edition of the Havana Biennial brings together in Cuba more than 50 artists from Latin America, Europe and Asia, including the Peru’s Sonia Cunliffe, France’s Valerie Mrejen, Germany’s Sigmar Polakg and Belgium’s Janna Beck.
