According to DNCD, the Navy and Super Tucanos aircraft began the raid by air, sea and land in the eastern part of the country, sighting a seven-meter-long boat intercepted several nautical miles off the coast of Boca Chica.

When boarding the boat, two Dominicans were busted, and 16 cocaine bales, 14 fuel tanks, two outboard motors, radio navigation and communication equipment, life jackets, several buckets, a cooler, and other evidence were seized.

Local authorities said that nearly seven tons of cocaine have been seized in the first three months of 2022.
