Mikhail Mizintsev, chief of Russia’s National Defense Control Center, stated on Friday that his country will continue opening daily humanitarian corridors to evacuate civilians from the areas of hostilities in Kiev, Chernobyl, Sumy, Kharkov and Mariupol.
At the same time, he criticized the Ukrainian Government’s decision that it has not facilitated the organization of any passage of evacuees to Russia, TASS news agency reported.
Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine on February 24, after authorities from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic and Lugansk People’s Republic requested help to repel the increase in aggression from Kiev.
