Diaz-Canel acknowledges work of Cuba’s State Security Corps

Havana, Mar 26 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Saturday acknowledges the role of the country's State Security Corps (OSE) in safeguarding the nation, on the 63rd anniversary of that institution.

“To Fidel, Raul, Ramiro, founding leaders, all the State Security combatants, that brave legion of anonymous heroes in our people, an undefeated troop whose history is full of glorious episodes, THANK YOU for your dedication. #63AñosJuntoAlPueblo,” the president tweeted.

National People’s Power (parliament) Assembly President Esteban Lazo also sent congratulations and recognition to these corps and their members for the work they do, on behalf of the lawmakers and the Commission for National Defense and Internal Order. “Delivery, fidelity to the country and the sacrifice of its combatants have frustrated the plans of the empire and the counterrevolutionary organizations,” said the head of parliament.
