The statements were made following a summit of leaders of the European Union held via videoconference on Thursday in which the leaders of Hungary and Ukraine exchanged views on the subject.
For the Hungarian government, “the most important thing is the security of its people,” declared the Hungarian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Péter Szijjártó.
The comments were made the midst of the special military operation launched by Russia in Ukraine with the declared purpose of protecting the integrity of the People’s Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk.
