Fatah spokesman Hussein Hamayel warned of Tel Aviv’s strategy during the Ramadan, which starts in early April.
Hamayel estimated that the neighboring nation will drag the entire region into a cycle of violence and assured that the Palestinian people will not stand idly by in the face of these attacks.
He also criticized the planned invasions to the Esplanade of the Mosques compound in East Jerusalem, the third holiest site for Muslims.
The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Sheikh Mohammad Hussein, warned Thursday on dire consequences if Israeli incursions into the site continue.
