The so-called showcase of world trade continues this Thursday with the opening of Expo-logistics, a parallel event alongside Expo-tourism.
Leading the organizing committee, Juan Jose Dutari told Prensa Latina that it will be an innovative event and will show that this sphere is the axis of development of others such as tourism itself and the regional and global trade.
More than 50 leaders of airport and maritime services, transportation, customs, warehousing, supply chains, shipping companies and ports, among others, Dutari added, will hold a broad exchange, also sponsored by the National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation.
The second day of these fairs is complemented with a business roundtable on humanitarian aid and the national days of Paraguay, Spain, France, Dominican Republic, Ecuador and the Caribbean nations, whose delegations join to those of more than 30 countries attending the event.
During the opening of Expocomer on Wednesday, President Laurentino Cortizo emphasized that the face-to-face celebration of this meeting is a sign of the economic development of Panama, after two years of the Covid-19 pandemic.
