Mr. Marrero on Thursday paid a visit to the northern and central strip of Villa Clara as part of his fourth visit there, and held meetings with local government authorities of Caibarién, Remedios, Camajuaní and Santa Clara municipalities.
In the tourist resort of the northern keys, Marrero met with businessmen and workers from the Ensenachos, Las Brujas and Santa María hotels.
He highlighted how the workers have maintained the optimal state of the facilities despite the ravages of the Covid-19 pandemic and atmospheric phenomena.
During his tour, the Cuban prime minister also held talks with government officials and administrators from various entities with whom he analyzed and checked the economic and social plights solved or not during his previous visit.
Marrero called for strengthening social programs and raising population’s quality of life, considering that the economic strategy is progressing in the territory, especially in the municipality of Camajuaní.
