Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev, director of that Center, warned that the life of those fighters will be guaranteed and they could travel through the humanitarian corridors to the areas controlled by the Ukrainian Government.
He stated that the heads of the units of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic and the Russian Armed Forces will be prepared for such a scenario and will ensure the safe exit of the fighters to any designated area, but only without weapons and ammunition.
Mizintsev conveyed Moscow’s invitation so that representatives of the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the Red Cross accompany the operation to evacuate civilians from that port city, located on the coast of the Sea of Azov.
Mizintsev, who also directs the headquarters for humanitarian aid to Ukraine, said that the neo-Nazis use more than 4.5 million civilians as human shields in that country, among them, 6,838 foreign citizens from 18 countries.
