Verifying the progress of the initiative launched by the Cuba Cooperation France Association (CubaCoop) is one of the objectives of the official’s visit to Paris. He is accompanied by INDER Senior International Relations Specialist Ileana Alfonso.
It is a very important project because it will support the training of Cuban athletes in sports such as judo, boxing, athletics, wrestling, handball, taekwondo, indoors and beach volleyball, swimming and weightlifting, among others, in high-quality facilities, Manso told Prensa Latina.
At least 24 French municipalities have already expressed their willingness to welcome Cuban athletes, who would train under optimal conditions.
This week, the Cuban delegation and CubaCoop President Victor Fernandez visited the Tremblay-en-France commune, one of those that agreed to support the Cuban athletes in their training for Paris-2024.
