“If the United States fulfils our two remaining demands today, we will be ready to go to Vienna tomorrow,” Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian confirmed.
“But two (unresolved) issues remain, including economic guarantees” that the United States must give Iran, he remarked.
Since April 2021, Iran has been conducting the 8th round of talks with the 4+1 group, comprised of the United Kingdom, France, Russia and China, plus Germany, to remove anti-Iranian sanctions as one of its top priorities.
Washington is indirectly involved in the talks due to its abrupt and unilateral withdrawal from the JCPOA in 2018.
