In an extensive report, the newspaper points out that Conviasa is among the four airlines that will operate as of Monday, March 21. The Venezuelan airline joins to the initial scheme of six domestic departures and an international flight of AIFA.
Conviasa, along with Volaris, Aeromexico and Viva Aerobus, will have direct flights with Venezuela and other Mexican states, among them Mexico City, Cancun, Quintana Roo, Tijuana, Baja California, Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Guadalajara and Jalisco.
The construction of the AIFA, one of the flagship projects of the Government of Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, along with the Mayan Train, the Dos Bocas refinery and the expansion of the road infrastructure, was entirely in charge of the Secretariat of National Defense and its engineers.
Venezuela’s state-owned airline, Conviasa, is set to open precisely the day the new airport opens, on Monday, March 21, with a Mexico City-Caracas route. The fight price is 371 dollars.
