In the Molecular Biology laboratories, 11,203 samples were analyzed to detect the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

Of 2,325 active cases in the country, 2,312 have a stable clinical evolution, and 13 people remain in intensive care units, including five in a critical condition and eight who are seriously ill.

Minsap added that 569 people were discharged, so the total number of recovered patients reached 1,064,144, of 1,075,030 cases reported since the outbreak of the pandemic in Cuba in March 2020.

Cuba’s death toll so far is 8,502.
