According to a press release received by Prensa Latina, the collaborators there pondered the outstanding work of women for the benefit of the Belizean people, daily raising the principles of solidarity and internationalism of the Cuban Revolution.
On Tuesday, March 8, International Women’s Day, the members of the Cuban mission in each of the districts of this country paid tribute to their female coworkers.
They described them as heirs to Cuba’s best historic traditions, represented by Mariana Grajales, Celia Sanchez, Vilma Espin and other outstanding women who were examples of patriotism and love for Cuba, the press release noted.
Collaboration between Cuba and Belize in the field of health care began in the 1990s, and currently more than 100 collaborators render their services here.
