During her speech at the 99th session of the OPCW Executive Council in The Hague, Ms. Pino claimed such a process must be conducted under strict and effective international control.

The Cuban ambassador reaffirmed her condemnation of the use of chemical weapons “in any place, by any actor and under any circumstance.”

Ms. Pino laid stress on the significance of international cooperation in fostering the peaceful use of chemical industry for nations´ development.
