Venezuela will receive and ensure visits by Russian tourists

Caracas, Mar 4 (Prensa Latina) The Minister of Tourism, Alí Padrón, informed today that Venezuela will maintain and ensure the visit of Russian tourists who wish to know and enjoy the landscapes and culture of the country.

The high official assured that the Consorcio Venezolano de Industrias Aeronáuticas y Servicios Aéreos S.A. (Conviasa) will assume the responsibility for the transportation of Russian tourists.

He explained that this decision is the result of an exchange he held via telephone with the Head of the Russian Federal Agency of Tourism, Zarina Doguzova, in which they also agreed to maintain regular flights and increase their connectivity.

On the other hand, the Minister of Tourism denounced the air closure that Canada, the United States and European countries maintain against aircrafts going to or coming from the Russian Federation.

Likewise, he reiterated all support to the Russian people and government on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro.

This week, the Venezuelan president stated that he will maintain at all levels his commercial relations with Russia and reiterated his support to the talks between both nations in conflict, repudiated the campaigns against Russia and defended its right to economic freedom.

He emphasized that the new forms of warfare revolve around the indiscriminate and illegal use of the dollar advantage and the financial system to blackmail the rest of the world.

He described as criminal the punitive actions implemented against Russia, such as the disconnection of the Swift interbank system, the closure of airspace and the exclusion of trade links.

On the other hand, he warned that the United States and the European Union (EU) intend to manipulate the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine in order to control the United Nations (UN).
