Activists quoted by several local media reported that the residents of al-Salehiya village, in Qamishli region of Hasaka province, prevented that a four-armored-vehicle convoy accompanied by an artillery vehicle of the so-called Washington-allied Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) cross through their locality.
A similar incident occurred, according to footages broadcast on national television, in al-Daadoushya village, where dozens of residents went to the checkpoint at the entrance of their village to support the soldiers who prevented the passage of a US military convoy.
The actions against the Pentagon forces and their separatist SDF militia have recently increased amid popular anger at their practices.
The Damascus Government has repeatedly denounced the illegal presence of US troops, which it described as occupation, and claimed that the Pentagon’s actions in Syria encourage the terrorist activity, and aim to destabilize the country and plunder its wealth.
