The Palestinian Prisoners Club stated in a communique that representatives of the detainees and the Israel Prison Service (IPS) held a meeting on Thursday to address the issue.
Although the IPS agreed to eliminate some measures against the prisoners, it maintained others, which were considered insufficient by them, the text underlined.
The prisoners noted that they will continue with their strategy of disobedience and rebellion against the penitentiary laws until their demands are accepted.
In this sense, they announced a hunger strike on March 25 if there is no solution by that date.
Tension in those prisons escalated since September 2021, following the escape of six Palestinian prisoners from the Gilboa high-security jail.
The issue of prisoners is a very sensitive one in Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as according to official sources, 40 percent of the men living in the occupied territories have been detained by Tel Aviv troops at some moment in their lives.
