Reports from public radio and television and Jornal de Angola newspaper indicated that the Emirati group is also sounding out potential businesses in aeronautical safety and aviation.

According to media reports, the intentions were confirmed by Yas Holding’s Executive Director Abdumonem Mohammed Darwish Almazooqi, at the end of an audience granted by President João Lourenço on Thursday.

Several companies of the Yas Holding investment group are operating in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia, in a broad spectrum of activities with a commitment to providing products and services of high value and quality, press analyses pointed out.

Speaking to reporters, the Emirati official appreciated the talks held with several authorities in Luanda to establish a working plan, which should register positive results in coming months.
