Russian airline Nordwind announces flight schedule to Cuba

Moscow, March 1 (Prensa Latina) The Russian airline Nordwind announced today the schedule of flights to and from Cuba for the transportation of passengers between both countries after the closure of airspace.

According to the entity, Cuban passengers will be accepted from Russia to Cuba, while island travelers will only be received on the island once the procedures with Russian tourists have been completed.

Nordwind specified the flights are organized with the priority objective of executing the evacuation of Russian citizens. Until now, the airline will continue to operate with the following frequencies during March:

Juan Gualberto International Airport (Varadero):

-Wednesdays and Saturdays from Moscow.

Jardines del Rey International Airport (Cayo Coco)

-Tuesdays and Fridays from Moscow.

On the other hand, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia reported the airlines of that country began to carry out repatriation flights from other destinations such as Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

Previously Aeroflot also announced the suspension of its operations to the Caribbean.
