At about 1:10 hours, local time, on Thursday, the Israeli enemy fired several bursts of missiles from the northern Lake Tiberias, in the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points near Damascus, the Ministry of Defense reported in a communique.
The text pointed out that the anti-aircraft defense batteries acted and shot down most missiles, however, the impact of others left material losses and three regular soldiers were killed.
The attack occurred 24 hours after another similar event were perpetrated with surface-to-surface missiles against several targets in Quneitra, located 67 kilometers southwest of Damascus.
The Syrian Government has condemned those actions and deplored the United Nations’ silence in the face of these events, as well as ratified the right to defend the integrity and sovereignty of the national territory by all legitimate means.
