PEL´s delegation concludes its official visit to Cuba after a meeting with directors and officials of PCC Central Committee´s Department of International Relations.

Deputy Director and Coordinator Ángel Arzuaga thanked PEL for its unconditional solidarity towards Cuba, as well as its humility and respect for the Cuban people.

The PEL Chairman Heinz Bierbaum, on the other hand, reiterated his support for Cuba, rejected the blockade imposed by the United States and also ratified the need to condemn the media war on the Cuban Revolution, especially in the European context.

PEL´s delegation arrived in Cuba on February 12, conducting a program of activities that included a meeting with President Miguel Díaz-Canel, a visit to Parliament, and economic, scientific and social centers located in Pinar del Rio and Havana.

In a recent press conference, European politicians spoke out against US blockade against Cuba and praised the democratic process on Cuba´s Family Code Bill.

Plus, they described the meeting with President Díaz-Canel as an honor, and also explained that lots of fake news are currently spreading across Europe.
