At a ceremony held at the Indian Embassy in Havana, Nilotpal Basu, coordinator of the National Cuba Solidarity Committee, received the ICAP’s seal and the letter that explains the reasons for such a decision.

Pallab Sengupta, secretary-general of the All India Peace and Solidarity Organization (AIPSO), also received the decoration.

Simancas thanked the two solidarity groups in defense of Cuba and its Revolution for their active work, as well as their contribution to strengthen friendship between the two peoples.
