US is not concerned about Cuba’s human rights

Cuba, EEUU, derechos, humanos, Bruno Rodríguez
Havana, Feb 16 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez ratified today that the United States government is not concerned about the human rights of the citizens of this Caribbean island.

On his Twitter social network account, the foreign minister described as cynical the pronouncements of representatives of the US government on individuals whose freedom it advocates and who they openly financed and urged to violate the law, something it would never allow others to do in their territory.

A message published today by the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, called on the Cuban government to release the citizen Luis Manuel Otero and those detained for the riots of July 11, which the authorities of the Caribbean nation have denounced for their violence and the damage caused to its facilities.

Cuba condemned the actions were promoted from the United States through the management of digital platforms and social networks, from which destabilization of the constitutional order, hatred and civil disobedience were promoted.

The island has also denounced financing of subversion projects and the awarding of international prizes to mask payment to the counterrevolution, among other interventionist strategies.

During the period of the pandemic, in addition, Washington intensified the economic, commercial and financial blockade, cataloged as the main violation of human rights and the longest injustice in history, which limits the inhabitants of the country from basic resources, such as food. and medicines.
