On Twitter, Mr. Lula da Silva -leader of the Workers’ Party (PT)- said he wants a Brazil not of arms, but of love, and stated that in the creation of his future government, differences will be put aside, because the challenge, more than winning, is to fix the nation.

Mr. Lula expressed the need to return to debating on a labor policy providing workers with the right to be treated with dignity and respect, and to have access to health.

We want to restore the rights of Brazilian workers, Lula asserted, who leads the polls (45-23) for coming October 2.
