According to activists quoted by Athr Press, the strikes occurred in the nearby area of the town of Ain Issa, in northwestern Hasakeh province, some 700 kilometers northeast of Damascus.
The Turkish airstrikes in these areas have so far displaced local people fro at least 30 towns to safer areas.
On the other hand, the artillery located in Turkish bases in the north of Aleppo province opened fire on seven towns in Afrin municipality, causing material damage in the civilians’ houses and properties and in agriculture.
Since 2018, Turkey has been controlling areas in northern Syria, particularly in Idlib, Aleppo, Raqa and Al-Hasakeh provinces, where it publicly supports the so-called “National Army” and other organizations described as terrorists by Damascus.
