The revival talks of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), unconditionally include by the Iranian side the lifting of illegal sanctions imposed by the White House authorities against Iran.
Asked at a press conference whether the agreement could be signed before the end of February, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Said Khatibzade said that “there is no deadlock” in the talks.
“If the European and US parties respond to Iran’s initiatives within the framework of PIAC and the rights of the country are not violated, we can announce an agreement in Vienna as early as this morning,” Jatibzade assured.
Iran has been attending since the beginning of 2021 rounds of negotiations with the 4+1 Group, comprising the United Kingdom, France, Russia and China, plus Germany, which are currently in their eighth cycle.
In recent days, Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Raisi confirmed that the Islamic Republic and his great nation “will never submit to threat, pressure and unilateral policies based on force”.
