“An important group of criminals financed and trained by Colombian paramilitaries have been arrested in Tejerías. Detainees are confessing Duque´s responsibility,” Nicolás Maduro said during a political act in tribute to 3 years of the Great Transportation Venezuela Mission.
The Venezuelan leader enlightened that many of the detainees mentioned which Colombian cities they were in, talked about their military training and how they were establishing a paramilitary base to attack Caracas.
Maduro stated that Carlos Luis Revete, notorious criminal known as Koki and who was shot down in the raid, settled down in the Autopista Regional del Centro, because it is one of the most important roads in the country.
Nicolás Maduro explained there was a plan to attack Caracas from Las Tejerías, “they wanted to attack Venezuela´s capital under the Ivan Duque Administration´s order.”
The Venezuelan president also congratulated his security agencies for their work and efforts, “for the successful fight against paramilitarism. To combat, to battle and always to victory!”
“We are going to increase the crackdown on crime. Paramilitary groups, criminals and murderers, wherever you go, we will come for you,” Maduro said.
