The Cuban diplomat told Prensa Latina News Agency that prior to the start of the 25th edition of the International Tourism and Travel Fair of the Eastern Mediterranean Emitt 2022, he held talks with the Turkish Airlines Airline CEO Ahmet Bolat to study mechanisms so as to expand flight operations.
Mr. Amorós stressed that Cuba -along with Turkish Airlines- will roll out cooperation actions to increase the flow of travelers to Cuba.
Deputy Director General of Marketing of the Cuban Ministry of Tourism Eddy Santos, on the other hand, explained they will monitor possible increase in the flow of tourists thanks to the Association of Travel Agencies of Turkey.
Turkish Airlines, after an impasse in its operations to Cuba as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, restarted its flight operations with Havana in mid-2021.
