President of Honduras details her refoundation proposal
Tegucigalpa, Jan 28 (Prensa Latina) The president of Honduras, Xiomara Castro, reported the real figures of the mismanagement of the National Party, the economic calamities of 12 years and her proposal for immediate refoundation.

During her first speech as president at the National Stadium, she expressed her commitment to root out corruption, supported by the administration of Juan Orlando Hernández, and establish education, health, security and employment as priorities.

As she announced, starting this Friday, they will begin a dialogue with educators for the return of children to face-to-face classes, the granting of school meals, vaccines, masks and free registration; as well as the strengthening of primary care in health centers.

The president summoned the Honduran people and asked the National Congress to approve the citizen participation and consultation law; She ordered freedom for political prisoners, justice for the murdered social leader Berta Cáceres, and protection of the environment.

Likewise, more than a million families will not pay their electricity bills, which will be passed on to high consumers. The government will create subsidies for fuels, aimed at reducing current prices, and the reduction of bank interests for production.

Under her management, a Law will be passed condemning the 2009 coup d’état; they will not grant any more permits for open mines and exploitation of minerals, rivers, hydrographic basins, natural parks and forests and will assume a Latin American, sovereign and supportive policy.

Likewise, Castro assured she will fight with all her strength to close the inequality gaps, end gender violence and promote the defense of women’s rights, closing her speech with the emblematic phrase: Until Victory always!
