On Thursday, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs updated its recommendations for travel and stay in Kenya, requesting that if citizens travel to this African territory, they should maintain extreme vigilance and not go to crowded places until the terrorist threat is dissipated.
Explosive attacks often occur in Kenya, especially in tourist facilities, by the extremist group Al-Shabaab, which has its operational and logistic bases in neighboring Somalia.
