Cuban Mission in Angola prepares consultation on Family Code

Luanda, Jan 28 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Embassy in Angola on Friday set up the electoral commission to conduct the consultation process to the members of the mission about the new Family Code in the island.

At the legation’s headquarters in Luanda, the swearing-in ceremony took place and the members of the team took office.

The ethical commitment of professionalism, discipline, exigency, transparency and impartiality was subscribed by Ambassador Esther Armenteros, as a president, Secretary Rafael Enrique Santaelena, and spokespersons Bladimir Martinez, Raul Gonzalez and Ernesto Gutierrez.

Armenteros told Prensa Latina that the consultations will take place in March “from Cabinda to Cunene,” that is, in each of the Angolan provinces, as Cuban professionals are working there in health, education, construction and other sectors.

The debates will be organized by regions and in the sites, with a large number of collaborators and meetings, in the light of the sanitary regulations to prevent the spread of Covid-19, the diplomat explained.

About 2,000 collaborators will analyze the document and that information will be sent to Cuba, the official pointed out.
