“We have exemplary relations with China and no one can deny the importance of this relationship,” the foreign minister told Radio Pakistan station.

Qureshi mentioned the setting up of a special working group to take forward the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and other joint projects.

The diplomat added that the main objective of Khan’s visit is to attend the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games and expressed his solidarity with China in view of the boycott to the event by some countries.

According to Qureshi, the Pakistani prime minister will meet with President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the winter sports event.
