The meeting will close on Friday and will address the prospects for the immediate future and the most relevant tasks in this area. The National Seminar of Economic Journalism 2022 is bringing together members of the media to address the state of Cuba’s economy.
The debates take into account the challenges posed by the recovery after almost two years of the Covid-19 pandemic, still latent, and the complex economic situation.
The Institute convened this face-to-face seminar with two fundamental objectives: to examine the country’s capacities to recover and the opportunities of the context and the policies adopted in this nation.
It includes the analysis and study of the media’s performance in such a context.
The course, coordinated by journalist Ariel Terrero, who is the director of Jose Marti Institute, is being attended by researchers from economic study centers and officials from various organizations.
Renowned economists and top-level experts will accompany the communicators in this effort.
