Headed by Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Government team expects to hold talks with Western diplomats this Monday, Pajhwok News Agency reported.
In a closed-door meeting on Sunday, the participants agreed that the talks offered solutions to Afghanistan’s problems.
Following the talks, Afghan government spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said that the attendees agreed that Afghans should work together to improve the country’s political, economic and security situation.
Later, the delegation led by Muttaqi will meet with representatives of Western countries to discuss the humanitarian crisis and the human rights in Afghanistan. The serious Afghan humanitarian situation, the economic crisis, girls’ education and women’s rights are issues of the meeting’s agenda, the source stated.
